Samsung Sign Patent Folder Icons overlap like in Android

Samsung has just known to have been known to register a patent that was quite interesting, especially related to Android user interface. In these patents Samsung modify the user interface in the form of icons that can be stacked like cards.

The icons are stacked is made by drawing one icon on top of other icons. If the stack icon is touched, the icons will open down like a deck of cards similar to a folder. This interface can also be displayed on the second screen. Folders can also be opened in several ways, including the way in Android right now.


It is unknown whether the appearance of three-dimensional icons that are registered will be applied in the Samsung TouchWiz UI are common in Samsung Android handset. Or whether these innovations will be incorporated into the Jelly Bean which is the next generation of Android.
