Having long been a rumor, popular photo-sharing app Instagram is finally confirmed to be present in the operating system Windows Phone. Through the Nokia World 2013 event which took place in Abu Dhabi, Nokia announced that not only will Instagram coming soon on Windows Phone, but also news reader app Flipboard, and video applications Vine six seconds.
According to Stephen Elop, Instagram will be available in a matter of days. However he does not mention in detail when the exact date. Meanwhile, the third application also will not be present in the Windows Phone Store at the same time. Quoted from Cnet, Flipboard will slide first with tablets Lumia 2520 (windows 8.1 RT) and then to the Lumia smartphones in the coming months.
While Instagram and Vine will reportedly be available in the Windows Phone Store in the next few days.
