Impression Design and Materials

At the initial impression Xperia L feels a bit thick and bulky for a device with a 4.3 inch screen. The body is slightly curved at the rear with a similar power button Xperia Z and SP. It appears that this will be the icon of this year's line of Xperia smartphones. Silver list on the side, but thin enough to sweeten the look of the phone. Talk to the display, the Xperia L is wider at the rear than the front as found on the Xperia E and Xperia J. When gripped, the curved part of the phone makes a comfortable grip, but rather on the power button protrudes forward quite disturbing. Finishing materials and this phone is quite good, typical smartphone Sony.

Ingredients phone is mostly plastic, glossy plastic on the front and matte plastic on the back of the battery cover, which can be opened when you want to replace the battery and SIM card and micro SD. Doff plastic material is rather easy to get dirty, let alone clean it quite difficult (to be rubbed). Micro USB port is on the left, while on the right there is the power button, volume and camera shutter button, which is unpopular in today's smartphone smartphones. At the top there is a 3.5mm audio jack. While on the back there is an 8MP camera, an LED flash, the XPERIA logo and the loudspeaker. At the bottom of the silver list no LED notification lights, but not only that function, while displaying photos then the LED light will light up with a color that depends on the dominant color on the screen. Suppose photo red rose, the red LED will light.

Still does not mean the screen is ugly, the overall color is displayed, the brightness and the contrast is pretty good, plus the viewing angle, it looks good even when compared with the Xperia Z, misty effect on the screen when tilted is not too severe. When displaying the color is slightly yellowish white color, but not too distracting. As there is no Bravia Engine, photo gallery and a video display screen nonjok less than the Sony with Bravia Engine.
