Qualcomm has just organized a major event in Hawaii that discusses the latest products and technologies.

In the event, Qualcomm also introduced the world's first laptop that uses the world's first Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the ASUS NovaGO. Even the main slogan of this laptop is "The World's First Gigabit LTE PC" because it has download speeds up to 1 Gbps.

Thanks to the Snapdragon x16 modem which is present in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset to provide Gigabit LTE or dowlnoad speed up to 1 Gbps. Meanwhile, the dimensions are quite slim that reaches 316 mm x 221 mm x 149 mm. In addition, it weighs only 1.39 kg only.

ASUS NovaGO Display

ASUS NovaGO itself is a 2-in-1 hybrid laptop equipped with hinges allowing users to make it tablet mode when folded. For the screen itself has a width of 13.3 inches with Full HD resolution and LED technology.

This laptop runs with Windows 10S which can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for free before September 30, 2018. Meanwhile, support for Windows 10 has also been present in this laptop like Windows Ink, Windows Hello, and Cortana.

To compensate for the ability of its upscale processor, ASUS released NovaGO with two variants consisting of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM and 8 GB + ROM 256 GB RAM. Interestingly, NovaGo has an eSIM and nano SIM that allows its users to use cellular networks to connect to the Internet. In other words, NovaGO also has a SIM tray to embed nano SIM card.

On the right side there is an HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack port, volume button, and power button. While on the left there are 2 USB ports and DC power jack. Not to forget, the standard keyboard without the presence of number pad and touchpad that accompanied by fingerprint sensor is also present in it.

ASUS claims that NovaGO is able to survive for 22 hours when used in normal use and 30 days in idle state. This laptop is priced at US $ 599 or about Rp 8.09 million for 4 GB RAM variant and US $ 799 or about Rp 10.7 million for 8 GB RAM variant. ASUS NovaGO itself will be available in the United States, China, Italy, Britain, France, Germany and Taiwan.
