Samsung confirms hackers stole Galaxy source code

The same group behind a recent Nvidia hack has claimed responsibility

 Hackers have successfully stolen internal company data and source law for Galaxy bias from Samsung, the South Korean tech mammoth verified moment. 

News of the breach was first reported before this month, with a hacking outfit named Lapsus$ claiming responsibility. The group, which lately addressed Nvidia, participated screenshots purportedly showing roughly 200 GB of stolen data, including source law used by Samsung for encryption and biometric unlocking functions on Galaxy tackle.

 In a statement moment, Samsung didn't confirm or deny the identity of the hackers, nor whether or not they had stolen data related to encryption and biometrics. But, the company said that no particular data, belonging either to workers or guests, had been taken. 

“ WE DO NOT ANTICIPATE ANY IMPACT TO OUR BUSINESS OR CUSTOMERS” 

 “ There was a security breach relating to certain internal company data,” said Samsung in a statement reported by Bloomberg News and SamMobile. “ According to our original analysis, the breach involves some source law relating to the operation of Galaxy bias, but doesn't include the particular information of our consumers or workers. Presently, we don't anticipate any impact to our business or guests. We've enforced measures to help farther similar incidents and will continue to serve our guests without dislocation.” 

 

 In the case of the recent Nvidia hack, the hacking group Lapsus$ tried to blackmail the company, hanging to blunder data online unless Nvidia removed cryptocurrency mining limiters from certain GPUs and made the motorists for these videotape cards open source. It’s not clear if Lapsus$ has made any pitfalls to Samsung trying to wring specific concessions.
